Don't you hate it when some know-it-all shows up and acts like the local folks are all dim-wits.

Well, this was one of THOSE times. A hot-shot from HQ decided to show up and make us use a component we knew wouldn't work. After we stonewalled him he changed his mind and decided we had the better approach. He returned to Corporate with his tail between his legs and was much nicer the next time he came to visit.
